1. What is Print-On-Demand and how does it affect my order?
At The Ashen Collective, every item is made especially for you once you place your order. This print-on-demand model reduces overproduction and waste, allowing us to offer unique designs without holding inventory.
Please note: Because of this, orders take a bit longer to ship than pre-made products.
2. How do I choose the right size?
Each item in our store includes a detailed size guide in the product description—please refer to this before ordering.
All apparel is made to order, so we’re unable to offer exchanges or returns for sizing issues. To ensure the best fit, compare the measurements to your favorite clothing items before purchasing.
3. How long will it take to receive my order?
Our estimated delivery time includes two parts:
Fulfillment Time: 2–5 business days (this is the time we need to produce your order)
Shipping Time:
USA & Canada: 3–8 business days
International: 5–20 business days, depending on your location
We’ll send you a tracking number as soon as your order ships. Please note that these are estimated times and may vary during peak seasons or due to carrier delays.
4. What shipping options do you offer?
We provide a variety of shipping methods depending on your location:
Standard Shipping (USA & Canada): 3–4 business days after fulfillment
Express Shipping: 1–3 business days after fulfillment
International Shipping: 5–20 business days depending on country
Shipping times do not include the 2–5 day production period.
5. How is estimated delivery time calculated?
We calculate the Estimated Delivery Time (EDT) by combining:
Fulfillment Time (2–5 business days)
Shipping Time (varies by destination)
The Ashen Collective works with top-tier production partners to minimize delays, but external factors like shipping carrier disruptions or customs processing may occasionally extend delivery windows.
6. Can I track my order?
Yes! As soon as your order has been produced and shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking link so you can monitor your delivery status in real time.
7. Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because each item is made to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for reasons like incorrect sizing or change of mind.
However, if you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please reach out to us within 30 days of delivery. We’ll review your issue and offer a replacement or refund if eligible.
8. What if I received the wrong item or it arrived damaged?

9. What materials do you use, and how should I care for my items?
Each product’s material and fabric composition is listed in its description. Most of our apparel is made with high-quality cotton or cotton-blend fabrics for long-lasting wear and comfort.
Care Instructions (General Guidelines):
Machine wash cold, inside-out
Use a gentle cycle with mild detergent
Tumble dry on low or hang dry
Do not iron on the print
Avoid dry cleaning
Following these steps will help preserve the quality of your garment.
10. Can I request a custom design or personalization?
At this time, The Ashen Collective does not offer custom designs or personalizations. All items are sold as listed.
